Tauranga Social Housing transfer – advising Accessible Properties on the project documentation and all resource management and property issues relating to the project-financed transfer of HNZ's Tauranga portfolio of over 1,100 social housing properties, and the long term rental subsidy / capacity agreements with the Ministry of Social Development.

Tāmaki Large Scale Development project – advising Exemplar Housing consortium on its bid for the project, which involved the project financed development and subsequent maintenance of approximately 2,500 new homes in the Tāmaki region over a 10 year period.

Joint venture housing programme –advising on the joint venture and structuring arrangements (including negotiating with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development) for the confidential project financing of a programme of public housing developments.

Waipipi Wind Farm – advising Tilt Renewables on the development of its Waipipi Wind Farm in Waverley, the first multi-contract, project financed wind farm development in New Zealand.

Crown Irrigation and an equity investor – advising on the investment, construction, operation and maintenance, and project financing arrangements for the Ruataniwha water storage scheme in Central Hawke's Bay, New Zealand. 

Public Housing Experience

Joint venture housing programme –advising on the joint venture and structuring arrangements (including negotiating with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development) for the confidential project financing of a programme of public housing developments

CORT housing –advising a bank in relation to its proposed corporate financing of a community housing development project for CORT under the HUD framework model. 

Ngāti Toa –advising on the transfer of approximately 900 tenancies / properties in Porirua from Housing New Zealand, the long term capacity arrangements with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development for the provision of social housing and related services over 25 years and the outsourcing of maintenance obligations.

UK Housing PFI/PPPs – advising a range of sub-contractors in Cheshire, Islington, Reading and Leeds; the sponsors in Manchester and Derby; and local authorities in Newham and Brent, in respect of both new build and refurbishment projects.

The UK's Homes and Communities Agency – advising on its grant-funding regime for over £4bn, including in relation to the development of the Olympic Village and its subsequent re-purposing for social housing.

Large scale voluntary transfers – advising local authorities and housing associations on projects in Bradford, Walsall, Dorset, Glasgow, Bromsgrove and Norfolk.
